Hope everyone had a safe and sane Halloween! The party at the Varsity Blues was great! Evidently, Patty Shackles and the Prisoners of Love performed well enough their work release arrangement will extend for several more weeks, including Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Celetic Fox in Downtown Topeka. The show, which starts at 8 p.m., will be the third anniverasry of the band's first appearance, when they shared the stage with their friends, Bridges.

So don't be surprised if some of those old friends, and perhaps others, show up for the party this time around. Should make for a great event!

And for those of you who find cigarette smoke objectionable, just remember the smoking ban goes into effect December, so hopefully we'll see some new folks when our December jobs roll around!

Hey Doug,

Here is the projected band list for Jam4Dan III scheduled for January 16 and 17, 2010. The bands are in random order. A schedule with the list of band times will be issued after the first of December once all the bands have committed. I have about 95% committment right now. If you are a band on the list and do NOT want to participate, please call me at 785-230-2946. If your band is not on the list but you would like to play, I would like to hear from you. This is going to be the biggest live music event in the history of Topeka and we are so looking forward to making this event a huge success.
